We did this on New Years Eve a few years ago, then my kids wanted it again on Valentines Day, then on Christmas Night, so now it’s become our fun special thing!
We have just been doing a cheese and a chocolate, and its been great!
It takes a little prep to get all the yummy items for dipping, but the dips are easy!
My kids love a dinner with Martinellis. I like to find a variety of flavors at the store and usually keep a variety on hand.
#3-A fun gift to give each child- Date with Mom and Dad!
We don’t typically give gifts to the kids for Valentines Day, but I love to decorate the table with treats on each persons place setting. We’ve also been trying to do one on one dates with the kids with either one or both parents, so I thought it would be the perfect gift to give a little preplanned date coupon to each child for Valentines Day. Enter your email below and I’ll send you the coupon printable for FREE. There’s one from both parents, and one from mom and one from dad. I have found it to be so fun to have one child all to myself. They’re so fun and chatty and feel extra special when all our attention is on them, what a gift!
It doesn’t have to be expensive or cost anything, it’s really about your child getting you all to themself!
#4-Leave Love Notes or “Heart Attack” Kids, Daddy/Hubby, *Have kids do it for grandparents, neighbors, friends etc…
I created this adorable printable of heart love notes that can be used anytime to surprise and delight your recipient with a fun decorated door, mirror, car, desk, wherever! It’s perfect for Valentines Day. I like to sneak them on my kids headboard or mirror on the days leading up to Valentines Day. You can get them for a few bucks in my Etsy Shop Now!
#5-Try a New Game-If you’re staying in this year with the fam and want to add in a family game night to the fondue fun, check out this post of our favorite games!
