My Grandma Betty started this tradition when I was little, in fact I still have my original pillowcase from her! I loved it so much, I got matching ones for me and my husband when we were newlyweds, and then for our kiddos. They love pulling them out of the linen closet after Halloween, right about the time they open up their new Christmas Jammies. It adds a little magic and festive holiday cheer to everyones room and bed.
